Broad Ripple
Hamfest
Saturday, August 6th,
2005
The
Broad Ripple Hamfest will be held August 6, 2004
from 7:00AM to 1:00PM. Located on the north side of
Indianapolis at 7373 Westfield Blvd. There are no
fees.
It
is about a mile north of Broad Ripple and about a mile
south of
Nora.
Across the road is the Monon
Trail, a good place for your
family members to walk,
roller blade or hike the trail while
you
enjoy the friendship of you amateur friends.
Joe-K9OOA & Betty-K9OOB will provide coffee & Donuts at 7AM.
The
Indianapolis Radio Club will provide hot dogs, buns,
condiments and soft drinks. (PICNIC starts at 11AM)
Participants are requested to
bring one (1) pitch-in-dish
and their own plates, cups and
utensils
.
Again this year; Steve-KB9RDS & Steve - N9OI
will operate a Special Event ( W9Z) youth station
So bring the young generation to experience on the air ham activities.
