Its history now; but, participation was very good on a great
day for ham radio folks at the Home of Betty & Joe Lobraico
in Broad Ripple .
Hey!; who wouldn't enjoy free food and fellow hams to chat
with about those days of old, latest ham radio project or those to come.?

The
Broad Ripple Hamfest will be held August 4, 2007
from 7:00AM to 1:00PM. Located on the north side of
Indianapolis at 7373 Westfield Blvd. There are no
fees.
It
is about a mile north of Broad Ripple and about a mile
south of
Nora.
Across the road is the Monon
Trail, a good place for your
family members to walk,
roller blade or hike the trail while
you
enjoy the friendship of you amateur friends.
Joe-K9OOA & Betty-K9OOB will provide coffee & Donuts at 7AM.
The
Indianapolis Radio Club will provide hot dogs, buns,
condiments and soft drinks. (PICNIC starts at 11AM)
Participants are requested to
bring one (1) pitch-in-dish
and their own plates, cups and
utensils
.
